Came across Nixie tubes when looking up frequency counters on Wikipedia:
They're a numeric display from the early digital (vacuum tube) era. I immediately associated it with Fallout, but I can't find any examples of Nixie tubes in screenshots. I've also seen them in Guitar Hero.
