Thanksgiving in NJ - part 2

Day 2 in NJ - we go to the shore at Belmar:


We walk along the boardwalk until we get to a drawbridge. Fishing boats are coming in with flocks of seagulls following close behind:
SC finds a seagull to play with (some of them are quite large!), but it runs away!
At the end of the jetty was a fisherman. While we were hanging about taking pictures, he threw some fish parts in our direction and a swarm of gulls descended, pretty much ignoring us completely. I was reluctant to shoot too much film, so this was the only shot I took. 
As we walked back, we noticed these posts in the boardwalk where there used to be parking meters.
And this one was full of rubber bands! Oh, the mysteries of life...
